Tejas Rodeo

Ryan's company was having a bbq out at Tejas Rodeo which is in town.  We had never been and ended up taking the kids there.  We plan to go there much more.  It was such a great place!  They have a rodeo every weekend with bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, mutton bustin and a calf scramble!  All the things you see at the big San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo but you are much closer to the action here.  They have stands to sit in but we prefered to be against the railing.  We had dirt flung at us as the horses ran by, the kids got to climb on the fence to watch and Dylan got to do the calf scramble!  We plan to take Addison out there one night to do Mutton Bustin.  They have a nice restaurant and a cafe, plus a band play too. 

Dylan was somewhere in this crowd of kids trying to grab the flag off of one out of five calfs running around!

They stayed on this railing the whole time.  Sometimes they would bring the horses right up and they could pet them.
