Rica's a Mom!

Our good friend Keith recently lost his dog which was very close to him.  Rica was the last tie to her and he asked if he could breed her so he had a puppy from Jake's (Rica's mom) pedigree. So.. 2 months later.. we have puppies!

She had  TEN puppies- 6 Blacks, 2 Yellows, and 2 Fox Reds (like her) on March 24th.  We plan to keep one and are hoping to get another Fox Red just like her!  

I am ready to start training this new puppy so she will be a wonderful indoor dog!  Not looking forward to the puppy stage though.. I'm sure I'll be complaining lots soon.
