Reading Restaurant

This morning, Ryan and I were invited to Dylan's class to attend their Reading Restaurant.  It was very neat.  We waited outside until the "restaurant" opened at 8:30.  Then our waiter (Dylan) met us at the door and welcomed us.  He asked how many was in our party (I said "2") and he took us to our table.  The table was complete with a tablecloth and carnation flower.

We looked at our menu and had a choice of two appetizers (two different poems) for him to read to us.  Then for the main entree, we each got to chose a story out 4 choices.  He read 2 stories to us.  They were quite long and he did an awesome job!  Finally, for dessert,  he read us another poem and brought us apple juice and muffins. 

He was so excited about this and has been talking all week about it.  They have been practicing for awhile now.  It was wonderful!
