Hamsters!

Dylan has been wanting a hamster (or guinea pig, or rabbit, or ferret, or a big lizard) for quite some time!  I decided that we can start with a hamster.  The lady at the pet store recommended the Dwarf Hamster as she said they just came into the store from a family and were all very friendly.   SO..  I had planned to just get Dylan the cage to surprise him for his bday tomorrow, but I ended up getting two hamsters (they have to have a friend, right!).  She said it was good for them to be alone for their first 18-24 hours without a lot of holding to adapt to their new home.  So I thought it was best to get it all set up, hide it in the laundry room, and surprise him after dinner tomorrow!
