Today, we went on the Air Force base to the Golf Course. There, they have a nice pond area that is just filled with turtles! We scoped it out a couple weeks early and Dylan finally agreed that it would be a great place for his turtle. We have had this turtle for one year now. He found him at Canyon Lake and brought him home. She was pretty little when we got her but has since outgrown her tank. Dylan wanted to buy a bigger tank, but it would only be a short time till she would of outgrown that too. I'm so happy he decided to put her here!
Ryan brought his waders as Dylan wanted his turtle to know there was rocks or perches for her in the middle of the water. Ryan said the water was only ankle deep, but he sunk almost to his butt in mud!! He said he was happy he brought those waders!
